June 2021 - Volunteers' Week was celebrated in fine style here in Wells with a self guided trail around our little city. Collecting a letter from posters in windows spread across Wells, the word 'THANK YOU' was a socially distanced way of showing our volunteers how much their contribution means to our community. Each letter was accompanied by an inspirational quote, the most memeorable one was 'Volunteers don't get paid, not because they are worthless but because they are priceless'.  Three winners were pulled out of the hat and will receive a People's Ticket to the Bishop's Palace.

1st April 2021 - Great news that Rebecca found the opportunity through Let's Do It Wells to volunteer as a gardener at The Lawrence Centre and has since successfully received funding through a initiative promoted by Wells Lions (also through this site) to imporove the garden. There is an appeal through Go Fund Me for anyone else who would like to help get the gardens looking first class for the spring and summer. Have a look at the 'give a minute' challnge section for more details.

Jan 2021 - We just made our 100th member! Great to see so much activity on the site and the wonderful people of Wells taking on new challenges even during a lockdown.

Unfortunately, we have not made any posts yet. Please check back again soon.
